This policy describes what data GAX Post collects, why it is collected and what you can do about it.
GAX Post is a technology analysis publication available at gaxpost.com. The commitment is simple: collect only what is needed to understand how the content is read, never sell personal data and never use third party advertising trackers.
Data collected automatically
As you browse the site, some information is recorded automatically by measurement tools. None of it identifies you personally, and none of it requires an account.
Google Analytics 4 records audience data: how many people visited, from which country and approximate city, through which channel they arrived, which pages they read, how long they stayed and what type of device they used. This data is aggregated and guides what is worth publishing.
Microsoft Clarity records browsing behaviour anonymously: how far the page was scrolled, where clicks happened, and session recordings with no information identifying who is on the other side. Form fields and sensitive content are masked automatically by the tool.
Cookies
Cookies are small files the site stores in your browser. GAX Post uses two categories only.
Functional cookies store the language you selected, so navigation stays consistent between pages.
Analytics cookies belong to Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and exist to tell a new visit apart from a return, so audience counts are not inflated.
This site does not use advertising network cookies or third party remarketing pixels. Should that change, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect, and a consent notice will be displayed.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. The content stays accessible; only the language preference stops being remembered.
Newsletter
Subscribing is voluntary and requires only an email address, stored on beehiiv, the platform used for delivery, and used exclusively to send the issues.
The address is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Unsubscribing takes one click through the link at the bottom of every issue.
Links to other sites
Articles may contain links to external sites, including clearly marked affiliate links. Once you follow one, you browse under that site own privacy policy, which is independent of this one.
How long data is kept
Analytics data is kept for the standard retention period of the tools themselves, generally between 2 and 14 months, and afterwards is discarded or kept only in aggregate form. Subscriber emails are kept while the subscription is active and removed after cancellation.
Your rights
Brazilian data protection law (LGPD) and equivalent regulations grant you rights over your personal data. You may request confirmation that processing exists, access to stored data, correction of incomplete or outdated information, anonymisation or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
